May Klutch Club Review

Got my Klutch Club. This is the Klutch Club Woman. They also have a men's and a mother one.
First look, nice little purple paper. It's a pretty large box.
First looksie into the box. Nice and full!
So I got two little coupon booklet thingeys. I wasn't aware but I guess Klutch has some kind of agreement with Walgreens. The magazine is part health and beauty and part coupons for Walgreens. The other one has some coupon codes in it for the products specifically found in this month's box.
So a 4 pack of Bic Soleil Bella Razors and then a sample of Clean and Well hand wipes and body wipes. Handy to keep for when I travel.
The first little baggie of samples are from 100% Pure, and includes honey almond , vanilla bean, grape cabernet and coconut nourishing body creams, - pretty cool all organic and vegan.
The little bottle is of Sheaterra Organics and is African Black Soap Frankincense Body Wash. It smells awesome. A little bit different of a smell but really  nice.
A Kind bar in Madagasar Vanilla Almond and a packet of Enjoy Life Seed and Fruit Mix. Looks good.
This is a bit strange. Hangover Sucks candies. Hmm...
Then I got a sample of Eclos Apple stem cell beauty anti aging primer...
A Wheatgrass Boost shot from Agro Labs
Dream Water
A really large coromega 3 Liquid Supplement. This is huge. You can add a few teaspoons to drinks, smoothies etc. Looks fun.

Overall, this was fun. I like the VARIETY of stuff. I'll try at least most of it, if not all.  If you would like to get your own they are $18 per month and promises " at least $50 of the best healthy snacks, supplements, fitness programs, personal care products and more" . You can sign up by going here.

I kind of like this this box. It's fun. It's got lots of variety in it and nothing too crazy ( except the Hangerover Sucks , ). I know that some peope would argue that you coudl get all this at the drug store, which looks to be true, but I would never try some of these things if it weren't for Klutch. I really can figure out if I like them or not, and if I do, I can buy them at a store close by. It's a win win for me.

May Heart Connection Day Spring Cards

I got my May Heart Connection Card Set today!
I love to send cards. I love to get cards. You all know I just love the mailbox in general, so I was pumped to find this monthly subscription service where you receive new cards each month. QUALITY nice cards, not junky ones . Here is what I got.

It comes in a manilla envelope.

This month they included some cute little Graduation stickers. I have several cards to send so this is cute.

The most beautiful cards. For real, just gorgous. Very well made, beautiful sentiments, all just amazing. I sat down and read each and every one of them when I got them. Just precious. I can't wait to send them out!! A variety of different kinds too ( sympathy, get well, birthday etc. )

Verdict
I mean I love cards. These are high quality cards and the extra stickers were a nice touch. Certainly going to keep them around.

If you would like to order this Heart Connection Club packet or any other beautiful cards you can do so at Day Spring.

May Bulu Box Review

Well I got my Bulu Box today! I have recently started running 5ks again, and am hoping to do my local 10k soon, so I've been training and running alot lately. Always looking for fun stuff to give me a little extra bump. Let's see what Bulu gave me this month.

The cute little box it comes in.

 The first look!
I got this Pro Max bar ( like a rice Krispie Treat) and a sample pack of NeoCell Beauty Bursts.
I have tasted the Beauty Bursts and they taste really good. I may buy the full sized package of them.

This is interesting: a $5 gift to this site called Gympact. Basically you pledge to work out x times per week. If you don't work out you have to pay your pre agreed upon amount. If you do work out though then you get  a small deposit into your paypal account. Like $1 per  workout or something. I signed up for this since I run anyways, so it should be fun. Will make me want to work out on days even when I feel blah.... This was a code for $5 to be deposited into your account to start with.

2 different energy supplents for your drinks. JCORE in a lemon flavore and the other one is a fruit punch flavor. I'll use these in my water, so pretty fun.
This is AllerDX. It is a natural supplement for allergies that claims to start working within minutes. I haven't suffered from allergies but my husband does, so I'll be putting this to work.

Final look.

Verdict:
Fun stuff. Not for everyone but if you are interested in fitness, weight loss, or just trying new things you would probably like this. It is only $10 per month which includes shipping so one of the cheapest boxes I've found, so I'd say this falls within a reasonable expectation. There is a variety of items ( chews, a bar, drink mixes, that fun little card etc.) so that is fun. Overall I was pleased and will keep my box.

May Ipsy Review

AHHHH! My first Ipsy Glam Bag. Pretty excited....

Nice pink package it is mailed in.

FULL SIZED Zoya nail polish. The color says it is called "Blu" but it is a very pale white. Perfect for summer toes. I'm actually pretty excited about this.
Juice beauty - The organic solution lip gloss. It says the color is pink, but it doesn't look pink on me. Very bronzy, not too dark though. I like.

Macadamia Healing Oil Treatment. Nice sized sample. Excited to try.

The cute little Chevron bag .

Pacifica Coconut Crushed Pearl Bronzing Body Butter.
Sample of yaby concealer. Very small, I haven't tried yet.

Here is everything all laid out.

My favorites-

The nail polish and the cute little bag. I love little bags like this for traveling, to put like products in etc. It's a cute pattern. I'm also excited to try the Macadamia Hair oil treatment.

Verdict-

Overall this is a great bag. Again only $10 for everything you see here. I feel the nailpolish itself is worth almost that. They give out good sized samples ( except the concealer seems a bit tiny).

If you want to join Ipsy you can here. I am very pleased with it and will be keeping it around.

May Birch Box Review

Got my May Birchbox! This is my second one.

Cute little box.

Then another cute little box.

First look.

Another cute little box.

 2 Amika products
- Nourishing Mask
- Oil treatment
Both sample sized, but enough to try one time really well.

Classic Marvis mint toothpaste.

 Beauty Protector- Detangler Spray
2 La Fresh WaterProof Makeup Removers

Supergoop Daily Correct SPF CC Cream sample
( I will say I got the same size of this brand of product last month ( different product, same brand and size) and it lasted a LONG time. you only have to use a tiny smudge.

My favorites:

I am a little funny about my teeth, so I tried the toothpaste immediately. It's awesome. Very fresh and minty tasting. Nothing chemically tasting or overly powerful. I like that and  could see myself purchasing the full sized tube.
The La Fresh Makeup removers. I have a hard time finding an easy, non abrasive eye makeup remover and I think this could be it. I used one right away and it doesn't burn or sting my face or eyes. I like how they come in individual packets, that are handy for travel.

Other likes:

I like that there is a variety of items. Things for my face, for my hair, for my teeth, a nice variety. I like that.

Verdict:

The toothpaste and detangler are nice sized, and like I said earlier the Supergoop really does last a while. I think that paired with the fun of anticipation of a new box and the fun of opening it, it's worth the $10 ( which includes shipping) per month.

Also you can post reviews of your products once you try them and earn points, which can be used for full sized products. I like that.

If you want to start a Birchbox subscription please go here. Thanks so much!

Full Mailbox on May 13th

After a really dry few weeks in May, I got the first of several of my boxes I am expecting today, as well as a few other goodies. This is what awaited me in my mailbox today.
1. Issue of Good Housekeeping Magazine.
- I got this subscription for free from MyCokeRewards, they often have Wednesday specials to get really cheap or free magazine subscriptions using your coke points. You sign up for free and enter in codes found on the coke caps, or Dasani water or Poweraide or a whole slough of other products coke makes.

2. Issue of Living the Country Life Magazine
- I got this by signing up for FREE. No credit card needed, nothing. It's a good magazine too! Please note that I don't just sign up for stuff ( magazines especially) unless I'll use them, even if they are free. I live in a rural part of the state and enjoy this magazine very much.

3. My May Ipsy Glam Bag-
- I'll be posting my review and let you know what all was in it later today or tomorrow

4. My May Birchbox

5. a Coupon to save $5 off of a Veet Wax set
- Not sure where this came from, but I'll take it!

April- Homegrown Collective Box

Had some more goodies when I got home! I always love checking the mailbox ( or in this case the mail man left the package on our porch swing).

This is my first Homegrown Collective Box. I love DIY, green, garden-y type stuff so I thought I would try it out. Word of warning though, it is $48 a month ( which does include shipping) so it is one of the most expensive boxes out there. But I just HAD to try it. Here is what came in the April box.

It has fun packaging. A cute little logo sticker.

This was printed on the top part of the box. Letting me know the theme was "Olives and Herbs and Candles OH My!!"
First Peek.

They also print cute little informational cards letting you know all the cool stuff in your box and how to use it.

The contents.....

There was an infused olive oil making set that included:
- a 16 oz jar of organic extra virgin olive oil
a package of dried organic basil
a package of dried organic black peppercorn
-2 very nice glass canister
- 1 cork and 1 drizzle spout

There also was a nice sized bag of dried organic chili peppers. All of this plus the directions to infuse your own flavored olive oils.

Then there was an herb growing kit that included 3 different types of her seed, little seed starter pods and little stakes. And of course directions on how to plant them and care for them.

Then there was a cute little Ball canning jar that came with a wick and everything needed to make an olive oil lamp. Please note that I only got one jar of olive oil, I'm just using it in 2 pictures. :)
So now you can make an olive oil lamp. Pretty cool.

So.... what did I think?

Well first of all, I am fairly cheap. The higher cost of the box turns me off a tiny bit, but it is a NICE box. I mean the organic olive oil itself is pretty expensive at the local whole Food store.
I have been reading the Little House on the Prairie books with my girls, so it will be fun to make the lamp with them. I'm not exactly certain they used olive oil in Laura's days... but it will still be fun.

Making the infused oils will be fun, and since I like to cook and try new things it will be good.

I'll use the herb growing kit. I do have some herbs planted already, but could always plant more. I do like herbs.

I don't like the fact that Collective Homegrown doesn't have any kind of referral program, or any kind of review program so I can earn points or any kind of bonuses if people sign up under me. So I think that would be nice.

Am I going to keep it or leave it?

I'm keeping it. I'm looking forward to another box next month and can't wait to try out all of my fun stuff.
